Who We Are
Jenny Lea first opened The Barn at the Gorge as an all-inclusive wedding and event venue that specializes in "Wedding Weekends." Launched during the Fall of 2016, the Certified Wedding and Event Specialist has successfully completed the process of planning and executing over 200 events. In 2021, Jenny Lea purchased Appalachain Rose Farm (formerly Red River Gorge Wedding Barn and Event Venue) and began the evolution of making the new venue all-inclusive. Sustainable Weddings
Our venues are located right in the middle of the beautiful Red River Gorge, and to honor the beauty that is right in our backyard, we are sustainable venues. How we are mindful of our impact on the environment around us: Our florists are farmers to florists. They grow the majority of their florals limiting the number of stems that must be ordered, and transported to the venues. For 2023 and beyond, compostable dinnerware can be added to all Wedding Weekend Packages, Micro Weddings, or Elopements.
